Historic Brewing Company and the National Forest Foundation are teaming up on a collaborative beer to benefit the Coconino National Forest and nearby Flagstaff communities. With each can or glass, you support forest restoration on the Coconino National Forest, protecting the Upper Rio Watershed and the Flagstaff community by reducing the risk of severe wildfire, keeping water supplies clean, and improving the health of the forest. We’re launching this beer during National Wildfire Awareness month to highlight the importance of forest restoration work in reducing the risk of catastrophic wildfires.

“At Historic Brewing Company, our slogan is ‘Makers of Craft Beer and Awesomeness’—and what better way to live that out than by partnering with awesome people doing meaningful work for our forests and community? We care deeply about having clean, healthy forests to help prevent wildfires. The work the National Forest Foundation is doing near the San Francisco Peaks is incredibly important to us, so we’re proud to join forces with them—and to brew a delicious craft beer to celebrate it!”

- John Kennelly, Owner & Founder, Historic Brewing Company

“The NFF is extremely excited to partner with Historic Brewing to support this priority community and watershed protection project. Partnerships are at the core of what we do, and this partnership has been an incredible opportunity to further communications about our work and engage more directly with the Flagstaff community. A feller buncher is a critical piece of machinery used to restore forests and protect communities, and one that is often not talked about outside of land management. As a forester often working alongside this machinery, I could not be more excited to highlight the feller buncher and this project in Northern Arizona with Historic Brewing!”

- Trevor Seck, Arizona Program Forestry Supervisor, National Forest Foundation
