Recipe Feature: Piehole Porter Beer Brownies

We’ve got a major sweet tooth, and also a major love for craft beer. Lucky for us, and for you, this recipe will satisfy any sweet tooth and incorporates our delicious Cherry Vanilla Piehole Porter. These beer brownies are easy to make, use minimal ingredients, and best of all are baked with beer!


Piehole Porter Beer Brownies

-1 cup of all purpose flour

- ¾ cup of cocoa powder

-¼ teaspoon of salt

-1 cup of mini or regular chocolate chips

-1 stick of unsalted butter (melted)

-½ cup of Piehole Porter

-4 eggs (room temperature)

-1 cup of sugar

-1 cup of brown sugar

-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 350 F

2. Butter a 9x13 in baking dish and set aside

3. Mix together flour, cocoa powder, and salt

4. In a separate bowl whisk together eggs, vanilla, and sugar until thick and then add melted butter and beer

5. Incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined

6. Fold in chocolate chips

7. Pour mixture into the butter baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes until the center of the brownies are cooked through

8. Wait until brownies are cooled before slicing

9. Eat up a brownie or two with a pint of Piehole Porter
